Renting Through Real Estate 1st

Renting through Real Estate 1st is easy! Once you have found a suitable property

through our office just follow the simple steps below to submit your Tenancy

Application.

Complete an application form in full, inclusive of 'Privacy Statement' -

one per residing adult, then fax it to us on 03 9847 0658, hand deliver to

our office at 36 Railway Avenue Ringwood East or email to; info@realestate1st.com.au

Please provide a clear copy of your license or passport with your

Application.

Applications are processed the same business day - subject to the

successful contact of your referees. Each application is subject to a credit

and tenancy database search. All applications are referred to the

landlord, who will ultimately make the final decision.

We will notify you regardless of the success of your application.

Once your application has been accepted, Lease documentation will be

provided and the Bond must be paid by Bank Cheque or Australia Post

Money Order payable to the 'Residential Tenancies Bond Authority' or

'RTBA' or alternatively can be paid directly into our trust account.

On the day you sign the copies of the Lease, a 'Tenant Information Kit'

will also be provided to you. This kit contains practical information

relating to the property and your tenancy, how to arrange maintenance

etc.

The payment in advance of the first months' rental (due on or before the

Lease Commencement Date) must again be paid by Bank Cheque

(payable to Real Estate 1st Pty Ltd) or directly into our trust account. Your

future rental payments can be made via a periodic payment arranged

with your bank, internet transfer, or using a Deposit Book.

For security reasons we no longer accept cash payments in the office.

We welcome you to the Real Estate 1st Property Management Department and

trust that your tenancy will be the start of an ongoing relationship with us for all

your real estate needs now and in the future.
